Director General's Message

Message from our Director General

I would like to thank the UAC staff, Ministries, Departments, Agencies (MDAs) and the Implementing Partners that have worked tirelessly to produce the dramatic results we have seen this year in the National HIV Response. The estimates for 2024 show that our prevalence has reduced to 5.1%, new infections have reduced to 38,000, AIDS related deaths have reduced to 19,000 and babies with HIV have reduced to 4,700.
