UGANDA AIDS COMMISSION ACCREDITATION
Uganda AIDS Commission was established by an Act of Parliament CAP 208, Laws of Uganda. Section 11 of Uganda AIDS Commission Regulation requires Non-Governmental Organisations, Companies, Community Based Organisations and Faith Based Organisations involved in HIV and AIDS prevention and control activities to apply to Uganda AIDS Commission for accreditation.
The main objective of the accreditation is to streamline the activities of HIV and AIDS Service Organisation by identify their areas of operation and to ensure that services provided are line with the National HIV and AIDS Priority Action Plan in place.Accreditation is free of charge and is a requirement for all HIV and AIDS Service Organisations providing HIV and AIDS prevention and control services in the country.
