The current structure of UAC hinges on 5 Directorates: Planning and Strategic Information; Policy Research and Programming; Finance and Accounting; Partnership; Human Resource and Administration. The Director General is the Accounting Officer of the Commission and all the other Directors report to him. The Internal Auditor administratively reports to the Director General and Authoritatively to the Board
Dr Nelson Musoba
Director General
Dr. Musoba is the Director General of Uganda AIDS Commission. He is a medical doctor with more than 20 years of clinical and public health experience, He leads a team of experts in coordinating the national multi-sectoral HIV response. He is a member of the National Drug Authority Board and represents the public sector on the Uganda Country Coordinating Mechanism for the Global Fund. Dr. Musoba served more than half of his working life at the Ministry of Health as Senior Health Planner.
Dr. Vincent Bagambe
Director Planning and Strategic Information
Dr Vincent Bagambe MBChB, MPH, MSc Project Planning & Management, is a Public Health Specialist. He has more than 24 years’ experience working in HIV/AIDS, TB, reproductive health, malaria, Health and Community Systems Strengthening and capacity building Programs. He has worked in complex programs that require intricate coordination of multiple implementers and funding agencies; particularly: Global Fund, USG (USAID and Department of Defense) and now Uganda AIDS Commission.
Enid T Wamani
Director Partnership
Enid T. Wamani is the Director Partnership at Uganda AIDS Commission. Enid holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration (ESAMI) and a B.A in Social sciences (Makerere University, Kampala). She is an experienced Manager in Community based programs in HIV/AIDS, health and participatory community development. Enid’s experience includes; nine years as a Team Leader of the Directorate of Partnership that coordinates the national HIV and AIDS Partnership mechanism at UAC;
