The International Candlelight Memorial (CLM) is one of the oldest and largest grassroots mobilization campaigns for HIV awareness in the World. The day provides an opportunity for communities to stand in solidarity with those who lost their dear ones to AIDS; and a platform for advocacy and stimulation of individual and collective resolve and actions to fight the epidemic.

This year the event will take place on 16th May 2025 at Uganda AIDS Commission Offices in Ntinda under the theme "Ending AIDS by 2030: Building a Sustainable HIV Response. The Chief Guest is the Minister for Presidency, Hon Babirye Milly Babalanda.
