Uganda missed narrowly the HIV-related Sustainable Development Goals targets for 2020. Similarly, some groupslike AGYW, key and priority populations, continue to have high HIV incidence, and sub optimal uptake of HIV treatment and prevention services especially among men, children, and adolescents.
UAC FOCUS
Uganda AIDS Commission (UAC) was established under the Office of the President by statute of parliament in 1992 to coordinate the multi-sectoral response to the HIV and AIDS epidemic.
